Dieting – The Best Method to Lose Weight?
Most people had success doing diets to lose weight. By restricting your calorie intake, you see results in a short period of time. But, is it the best method to lose weight? Is it safe and can you stay on with it permanently?
First, it is important to know what is lost during this process as losing weight doesn’t mean losing fats in the first place. In fact, in most conventional diets, what you are losing is muscle tissues, not fats! Second, as diet is temporary, most people can’t maintain it so they end up just like before when they go back to their normal lifestyle.
A very low calorie diet sends your body into “starvation response mode”, a natural defense mechanism to offset the effect of food supply shortage in you body. Because of this, it slows down your metabolism – slow metabolism means less energy is used and fewer calories burned. Therefore, you cannot perform physically well as you always feel tired.
The most harmful effect of a very low calorie diet is losing lean muscle tissues. At this stage, where your body is finding ways to conserve energy, it will convert your muscle tissues into glucose for energy, since muscle has an active metabolic properties, therefore, much easier for the body to use than fat cells.
A very low calorie diet also increase your appetite and cravings making it difficult to stay during the process and when you get off with it, you become a voracious eater!
So, going back to the question, is diet the best method to lose weight? You better think twice…

Dieting needs a lot of motivation. You can’t do it all alone needs someone or something that could motivate you. This would be the best way to lose weight.

Please never try to lose weight by doing dieting.Dieting is not the appropriate method to lose weight because it lacks the amount of protein and vitamin that we used to be have in our body.So try to do yoga/exercise daily which is natural good for health.I have one good method to lose weight without doing dieting just you have to take 8 glasses of water daily on the right time.take water in this way:
2 glasses:as you wake up
1 glass:before having breakfast
1 glass:after having breakfast
1 glass:before having lunch
1 glass:after having lunch
1 glass:before having dinner
1 glass:after having dinner
Then try to take lots of water before going to bed which will helps you to have sound sleep.So as well know water is also good to remain healthy and natural beauty.So try to follow this method.I am following and looking physically fit nowadays.Lots of thanks for sharing good article.
Eat very healthy and excersise. As long as you are burning more calories that you are taking in, you will lose wait. Also stay active throughout the day and sweat alot.
I am not agree with you because dieting is not good method to lose weight.We should try to eat right foods on the right time.Bicycling,swimming,running and walking is simply good ideas to lose weight.Try to do yoga/daily exercise then it is sure to have slim body.Great sharing dude,Keep it up.

Probably the best diet I ever heard was also the simplest. Eat less move more!
dieting are good for lose fat but in my opinion crash diet are very harm full for body so be aware from that. any way thanks for information
i am agree that the best way to lose weight is to go to the gym , working hard there and you will see the results in a few months , but it is very healthy and enjoing!!
Eating the right food and nutrition is very essential in our body. You don’t have to worry if you eat much as long as you know on how to burn them but I think cutting down your food intake can also help you loose weight but not to extent of starvation. Again, we still need the nutrients in our body to stay fit and healthy.
I think the best way to lose way is to eating healthy everyday and also doing some little exercices every day (or every week for lazy people), it is the best way to maintain always lose way and being able to maintain a stable weight.

Diet is good but it should be associated with proper discipline and management. You have to maintain a balance eating and exercise that will help your process which is to lose weight.

Your body is a machine and you need to give it the fuel it needs. After a couple weeks of eating the right foods your body doesn’t crave the junk food that is so easy to get hooked on. You also need to move. I have heard it said that if you walk two miles a day you will maintain your weight, but if you walk four miles a day you will lose it! So eat right, eat less and move by walking four miles a day.
